OK..this came up an hour ago. Are there any songs by female pop artists that you like (that you may be a bit embarrassed to admit)? I find myself listening to The Fear by Lily Allen (Embedding disabled...boo).
I also listen to Aimee Mann who is kind of pop...but not really (not embarrassed of this fact).

I've always found Sarah McLachlan's voice mesmerizing (see "Building A Mystery"), and I think Feist is great. I've probably listened to / watched the video for "I Feel It All" 50 times:

i really liked sara bareilles' "love song" (the acoustic version) back when it first came out. i remember singing at the top of my lungs whenever it came up on itunes shuffle...
